About
ARTIST STATEMENT
Objects can promote memory. Sometimes they can help you remember a moment in time, a special place or person. Some objects can only produce a specific memory for the person they belong to, but they can perhaps have a different effect or response to a different audience, maybe a feeling of nostalgia?
How to portray domestic objects as an image that is visually interesting for other people is what my work is about and something I like to explore. My love of ceramics especially jugs, pots, cups (and a good cuppa!) is also a recurring theme in my work!
